Ayurvedic cosmetic rituals – beauty that comes from within

Conscious cleansing rituals can bring your inner beauty outwards:

1. Cleansing ritual – Gentle & detoxifying

Morning:

  • Cleaning withRosewateror a gentle herbal steam bath (e.g. lavender, chamomile,Tulsi)
  • Use of a gentle cleansing oil with herbal extract (e.g., neem, triphala orManjistha)
  • Mini-massage in upward movements – breathe consciously during the massage

At evening:

  • Then apply a soothing tonic (e.g. sandalwood hydrosol or aloe vera).

Here's how:

  • 5–10 min. facial massage with warm Ayurvedic facial oil (e.g. Brahmi, sandalwood or rosehip oil)
  • Massage in a circular motion with your fingertips, consciously including your forehead, jaw, and temples.
  • Then remove with a warm, damp cloth or allow to soak in.

You can also include a mini-meditation and repeat a mantra, e.g., "I give my face light and love".

3. Herbal masks according to your dosha – for your skin balance

Depending on your dosha type, face masks individually tailored to your constitution are suitable.to make the skin look more awake and radiantThe special ingredients soothe, nourish, and balance the skin.

Vata typesThey should ideally use an avocado-honey-rosewater mask, which has a particularly nourishing and soothing effect.

Kaphaprefers a mask made of clay, turmeric and lemon juice, which cleanses and activates the skin.
